For those catching up, Adidas recently decided to pull Bella Hadid's campaign after facing backlash from the Jewish & israeli community all over the globe.

Many felt her past statements regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including us, were insensitive. As someone from Israel, TBH, this hit close to home for me.

Let's break it down.

Brands have a big influence on society, whether it’s through fashion choices or the people they endorse. When Adidas chose Bella for their campaign, they inadvertently endorsed not just her style but also her public persona. For many, this included her views on political issues.

As someone who believes in accountability, I have to say, Adidas made a tough but necessary decision. In a world where every action is scrutinized, brands need to be mindful of the messages they send. It’s not about silencing voices but about being responsible with the platforms we have.

Some may argue that Bella’s personal beliefs shouldn’t affect her career opportunities. And yes, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But when those opinions cause harm or hurt, it’s only fair for companies to reassess their partnerships.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room; Could Adidas have chosen another model from the get-go? Absolutely. There are countless talented individuals out there who would have rocked that campaign just as well, including us, the dolls.

This isn’t about erasing Bella from fashion history; it’s about making choices that resonate positively with their audience.

As we move forward, let’s hope this sparks more conversations about responsibility in the fashion industry. We all play a part in shaping the world we live in, whether we’re designing clothes or choosing which brands to support.

So, what’s next for Bella Hadid? Who knows! do we care? not really, as long as she's promoting terror organizations (AKA HAMAS). But one thing’s for sure: this won’t be the last time we see her in the spotlight. As for Adidas, here’s hoping they continue to make decisions that align with their values and the values of their customers, AND much luck with bella suing them for what they caused her, rightfully.

Until next time, stay stylish and stay woke!
